Spirit. Passion. Ambition.

Jenny Burks is a New York City based actor and singer, signed with SW Artists. She graduated with an M.F.A. in acting from the Actors Studio Drama School in New York City in May, 2017. Jenny is originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan where she received a B.A. in Drama and a B.A. in Anthropology from the University of Michigan.

Jenny made her Off-Broadway debuts in Almost, Maine and Funny House of a Negro during the 2017 ASDS Repertory Season. She has also performed in Little Shop of Horrors, Much Ado About Nothing, The Merry Wives of Windsor, Home is Sweet Sorrow, and acted, sang, and played violin in Marishka Phillips' production of Their Eyes Were Watching God.

"As Janie's soul and the narrator, Burks is the perfect internal complement to Smith's external angst, charmingly delivering subtext for the audience that doesn't undermine the nuances of the other players' more literal interactions." --Stereo Williams, Rollingout.com
